This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Known Limitations

The following limitations are known and we are working to address them where possible:

Social media embeds (Facebook, LinkedIn) from third-party services may not be fully accessible. These are loaded via react-social-media-embed and we cannot control their internal accessibility.
Some blog post cover images may not have descriptive alt text. Source images were migrated from Substack where original descriptions were unavailable.
2 of 5 client SVG logos (Lancaster CVS, Lord's Taverners) may not render visually in all browsers, although they are present in the DOM with appropriate aria-labels.

Measures Taken

We have taken the following measures to ensure the accessibility of this website:

Semantic HTML throughout all pages with appropriate heading hierarchy
ARIA landmarks and labels on all interactive elements
Keyboard navigation support with visible focus indicators
Reduced motion support via prefers-reduced-motion media query
Minimum 24x24px touch targets on all interactive elements
Form error messages programmatically associated with inputs using aria-describedby
Automated WCAG 2.2 AA testing with axe-core integrated into our test suite
Cognitive accessibility (COGA) review following W3C guidelines for clear language and predictable interactions
