From Volunteer to Paid Positions

Many of our volunteer roles have the potential to evolve into paid positions as our organisation grows. We value the contributions of our volunteers and seek to provide opportunities for professional development.

As we expand our services and secure additional funding, we aim to create sustainable employment opportunities for those who demonstrate dedication and skill in supporting neurodivergent individuals.

Time for Inclusion & Diversity in Education

Parents and Carers turning the tide for inclusive education within Morecambe Bay.

An initiative facilitated by Spectrum Dynamics CIC, a not-for-profit who have a mission to break down barriers in education and employment for neurodivergent youths.

Our mission is simple:

Together, we will create lasting, positive change by advocating for fair treatment and equal opportunities for every child, regardless of their needs or background.

Group Guidelines:

  • 🤝 Respect Others: We are here to support, not judge.
  • 🎯 Stay Focused: Discussions should align with our mission advocating for fair education and equal opportunities.
  • 💡 Action-Oriented: If possible bring solutions, not just problems!
  • 🔒 Protect Privacy: Avoid sharing identifiable details about children/professionals without consent.

This group is a space for parents/carers/community allies who are interested in being part of a movement which amplifies all our voices and mobilises our community in actioning solutions to unfair and discriminatory practises.

What We Do and Who We Are:

  • We are Purpose Driven Parents/Carers
  • 📚 We share our resources, information, and advice to help those yet to fully navigate school systems.
  • 🌱 Take positive, actionable steps to promote inclusivity in local schools.

This group is for those who want to move beyond frustrations and focus on building solutions and advocacy for inclusive educational futures that support and move away from a one sise fits all.

Coming in January 2025:

TIDE will have a unique opportunity to utilise the skills of a Lancaster University Student in supporting our efforts to translate our ideas into action and how this might look when developing evidence based policy change.
